1. On December 16, 2025, Haser Foggo, Founder of the Deep Poverty Network, answered the following questions in an online seminar:
2. Human Conditions and Living Conditions: “What is the most devastating impact of deep poverty on daily life? What are the three biggest challenges (housing, food, health, etc.) faced by those in deep poverty in order to survive, and what sacrifices do they have to make to cope with these challenges?”
3. Social Exclusion and Dignity: “When do they feel most excluded or stigmatized in their relationships with the rest of society? Due to poverty, what is most lost not only in terms of access to material resources, but also in terms of respect, dignity, and a sense of belonging?”
4. Future and Inequality of Opportunity: “Is there a way out of this cycle? How do you think poverty limits the future potential of children (or young people), especially in terms of access to education, job opportunities, or healthcare? What is the biggest disappointment for you?” Institutional Response and Support Mechanisms: “What are your thoughts on the support they receive/don’t receive from the state, local governments, or aid organizations? Is the aid reaching those in deep poverty truly the aid they need? What is the most important thing you think needs to be fundamentally changed in current social assistance or support programs?”
5. Social Awareness and Message: “If you could be the voice of the whole world right now, as an individual struggling with deep poverty, what would be the most urgent and fundamental message you would want to convey to governments, the wealthy, or society in general?”
